Columbus Corner Bakery

Project Type: Rebranding

Concept
The client was in need of a logo and had very few ideas. After research it was made clear the main demographics for the bakery are women between the age 35 to 60. The imagery for the bakery up to this point has been plain flyers created in Microsoft word and they didn’t have a website, but only a Facebook page.

Sketches
Creating a logo started with collecting visuals for creation and designing based on a soft color and cakes.

The Process
The problem with the initial logo began with one major issue, they didn’t produce cupcakes. I wanted to revise their identity to reflex exactly what brings the most capital and what the bakery was known for. I ranged from a stylistic layered cakes, to that which had more clean lines and structure. The client needed a logo that could easy translate to t-shirts, labels and business cards.
